A Wisconsin grand jury investigating alleged criminal violations of the Clean Water Act gets to review security-camera footage appearing to show federal agents pointing guns at employees while executing a search warrant of the criminal target’s premises.
The grand jury is “entitled to inquire into the circumstances surrounding the collection of evidence relevant to its investigation,” the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said Feb. 3, reversing a district court order quashing the prosecution’s subpoena.
