Enduring Shouldn’t Be Sued Over Scribe Layoffs, Magistrate Says

Enduring Ventures should be nixed from a lawsuit claiming publisher Scribe Media violated federal worker protections by laying off employees without notice, a magistrate judge said.

Holding company Enduring Ventures Inc., an alleged part owner of Scribe, doesn’t have sufficient ties to Texas for the US District Court for the Western District of Texas to exercise jurisdiction over Enduring in the suit, Magistrate Judge Dustin M. Howell said in a report and recommendation Wednesday.
