DHL Hit With Two Driver Suits Over Unpaid Wages, Missed Breaks

DHL Express USA Inc. is facing accusations that it cheated last-mile drivers out of overtime pay and meal and rest breaks in two nearly identical lawsuits filed in federal courts in Texas and New York.

One lawsuit was filed by Gabriel Hernandez, who works as a “courier driver” for DHL and SER Enterprises Inc. in Texas. The other was brought by Lukas Kotecki, who worked for DHL and three local-delivery vendors in New York. Kotecki previously filed a similar suit in October.

Hernandez and Kotecki both seek to represent similarly situated workers in state-law classes and FLSA collectives. Their complaints ...
