Bayer Lawsuits Sent to Texas Counties Where Vineyards Grow (1)

Texas vintners suing Bayer CropScience LP and other chemical companies for grape damage allegedly caused by a vaporized form of dicamba herbicide must litigate their claims in the same county as their property, and not where they filed suit, a state appeals court said.

Texas law allows actions for recovery of real property to be brought only in the location of the property.
