Activision Settles Sex Harassment Claims in $18 Million Deal (2)

Activision Blizzard Inc. will settle sexual harassment and discrimination claims in an $18 million deal with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, after a federal judge in California approved the agreement Tuesday.

The settlement requires the game maker to use the $18 million to create a fund for alleged victims of the harassment and discrimination and also includes workplace reforms and new oversight of the video-game maker.

Current and former employees dating back to Sept. 1, 2016 who believe they are entitled to an award under the settlement can submit a claim for the agency to evaluate.
