Abortion Providers Challenge Georgia’s Six-Week Ban (2)

Several Georgia health-care providers are suing Georgia over a law that bans abortion as early as six weeks after a woman’s last menstrual period.

SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, Feminist Women’s Health Center, and Planned Parenthood Southeast Inc. led a coalition of providers throughout the state in a complaint filed June 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
