3M, Saint-Gobain Must Face N.Y. Residents’ PFAS Injury Claims

A group of New York residents’ personal injury claims against Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp., Honeywell International Inc., 3M Co., and E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Co. may advance now that missing information identified during discovery has been provided, a federal district court said.

The residents allege their drinking water was contaminated with PFOA, a chemical in the family of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, in Hoosick Falls, N.Y.
