CONFERENCE REPORT: Firms Must Plan Ahead for Crisis Communications

What transforms a law firm issue, such as the loss of a practice group, a data breach, or a senior leader’s scandal from something for the managing partner to handle, into a crisis?

According to Zach Olsen of Infinite Global’s San Francisco office, speaking in a session held October 27 at the Aon Law Firm Symposium in Chicago, the cause is either “not having a plan, or having a bad plan.”

Planning ahead for crisis management was the subject of the panel, titled “This Too Shall Pass: Law Firm Communications in Times of Crisis.”
