Time Warner Denied Rehearing of Sprint’s $140M Patent Verdict

A $140 million patent infringement verdict won by Sprint Communications Co. against Time Warner Cable Inc. will stand after Time Warner’s request for a rehearing by the full Federal Circuit was denied March 18.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld the District of Kansas jury’s verdict, concerning Voice over Internet Protocol services, in a 2-1 decision in November.
