Universal City Studios LLC’s “Save the Dinos” merchandise and Jurassic World promotions violated conditions of a licensing agreement, a multimillion dollar trademark infringement lawsuit alleged.

Plaintiff Frederick Zaccheo said the studio and Amblin Entertainment Inc. broke a 2017 agreement allowing use of his trademark to promote their 2018 movie “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” The deal barred clothing sales and use apart from Jurassic World branding, the Oct. 30 complaint said.
