Rolls-Royce Gets Court to Protect Secrets in Laser Contract Case

Rolls-Royce North American Technologies Inc. convinced an Indiana federal court to stop Dynetics Inc. from sharing trade secrets as they engage in arbitration to resolve differences over an Army contract teaming agreement.

The threat of exposing Rolls-Royce’s trade secrets is imminent, rather than speculative, because Dynetics took steps to publish confidential information to competitors, Judge Tanya Walton Pratt of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana said.
