PTAB Trial Grant Decisions to Be Reviewed by Full Court

The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit agreed to review the Patent Trial and Appeal Board’s threshold decisions to accept a patent challenge (Wi-Fi One, LLC v. Broadcom Corp., Fed. Cir., 2015-1944, 1/4/17).

The en banc review gives Wi-Fi One LLC a chance to show that its data network patent was challenged too late by Broadcom Corp. for the PTAB to have instituted trial.
