Patent Infringement by Bally’s Casino
Slot Machine Bonus Payouts Affirmed

Casino operator Bally infringed patents covering making bonus payouts at slot machines to its best customers or randomly as promotions, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ruled Oct. 5 (IGT v. Bally Gaming International, Fed. Cir., 2010-1364 / 1365, 10/6/11).
