New York Soccer Clubs’ Trademark Dispute Gets Sent to Mediation

Two New York-based Bosnian American soccer clubs are headed to mandatory mediation in a trademark infringement suit over the use of the team name and logo under an order by the Northern District of New York.

Krajisnik Soccer Club Inc. filed the suit against Krajisnik Football Club Inc., alleging it has, since its inception in 1997, operated under the tradename “Krajisnik Soccer Club” and used a logo consisting of a distinctive soccer ball design with a lightning bolt and the words “KRAJISNIK SC.”
