Monster Truck Promoter Settles Louisville Slugger Suit (1)

Wilson Sporting Goods settled a trademark infringement suit against promoter AMP Live Events LLC over use of “Louisville Slugger” in ads for the Monster Truck Nitro Tour, Kentucky federal court records show.

AMP manager Danny Torgerson told Bloomberg Law that the parties have resolved the suit, which was filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

AMP has agreed not to use any of the trademarks and AMP will not have to answer the lawsuit, Torgerson said.
