Models Settle Strip Club Ad Case, Another Group Petitions Court

A group of models settled one lawsuit in a case against strip clubs using their images without permission, while another group, including some of the same models, asked the Supreme Court to review a similar suit.

A group of 12 models including Tara Lee Patrick, Carmen Electra’s legal name, agreed to settle the case in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut on Monday. A judge declined to dismiss the case in 2019.
