Omni MedSci Inc. says health technology in wearable devices like smartwatches and earbuds manufactured and sold by Apple infringes seven of its patents.
The Michigan-based company accused the tech giant of copying technology used in Apple products to measure “physiological parameters” including pulse rate monitoring and blood flow, as well as tech used to perform optical measurements, in a complaint filed Monday in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
