Materion Corp. filed a federal lawsuit alleging Lebronze Alloys’ Hardiall line of copper-nickel-tin alloys used in high-performance industrial applications infringes three patents related to its Toughmet 3 product.
Ohio-based Materion said that Lebronze’s Hardiall products, particularly the TS95 variant, infringes US Patent Nos. 10,858,723, 11,008,818, and 10,190,201, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. The alloys are used in the aerospace, defense, energy, and semiconductor sectors, among others. Lebronze, based in Suippes, France, didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
