Vermont Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy will lead the Senate Judiciary Intellectual Property Subcommittee in the 117th Congress, the leaders of the full committee announced Sunday.
Leahy was the lead Senate author of the America Invents Act. The subcommittee oversees the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
