LabCorp must face a patent suit from Ravgen Inc. over DNA testing technology in the Western District of Texas, after a judge found LabCorp lacked good cause for a late transfer request.
Judge Alan Albright in an order Friday denied LabCorp’s request to file a motion to transfer the suit to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. LabCorp said Southern California would be a more convenient place to litigate the case.
