JUUL Sues Vaping Companies for Infringement, Unfair Trade

Vaping product manufacturer JUUL Labs Inc. says Eonsmoke LLC and companies from Uruguay and China are infringing its patents and unfairly competing with it in the vaping market.

In a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, Juul said New Jersey-based Eonsmoke, Uruguay-based ZLab S.A., and Chinese companies Ziip Lab Co. and Shenzhen Yibo Technology Co. are not only infringing JUUL’s design patents but are selling illegal and unapproved vaping products and harming JUUL’s reputation.
