Intel brought the three inter partes reviews against Qualcomm’s 9,154,356 patent, alleging some of its claims were obvious in light of prior art. The board said in decisions entered Wednesday that Intel didn’t prove the claims were unpatentable.
The decisions mark another turn in a row between Intel and Qualcomm over the ‘356 patent, which covers “low noise amplifiers for carrier aggregation.”
Intel had previously sought two inter partes reviews of the Qualcomm patent, but the board also didn’t invalidate claims in those reviews. ...
