Denver Public School District No. 1 settled a lawsuit filed by current and former high school students over the trademark “KNOW JUSTICE KNOW PEACE.”
The parties notified the US District Court for the District of Colorado on Thursday that they reached an agreement. Details of the settlement, however, weren’t disclosed. Representatives for the district and the students didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
The students alleged that the district seized control of a podcast created in 2020 by Black honors students in the Denver Public School System to discuss racial problems in America.
