Challenged claims of Wildcat Licensing WI LLC’s patent for an assembly system for monitoring proper fastening of an article of assembly at more than one location are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board ruled, in an inter partes review by Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems LLC, General Motors LLC, Faurecia Automotive Seating, LLC, and Magna International Inc.
