A federal district court in Texas denied Amberger Kaolinwerke Eduard Kick GMBH & Co. KG’s motion for judgment as a matter of law of invalidity for lack of enablement, of no infringement and no willful infringement, and of no damages, in U.S. Silica Company’s action for infringement of patents for a highly reflective roofing system. According to the court, substantial evidence supports the jury’s verdict on each of the grounds raised by Amberger Kaolinwerke.
