Supercell Oy’s motion for relief, in GREE Inc.'s patent infringement action against Supercell, was denied by a magistrate judge in Texas. The judge noted that Supercell — a company based in Finland — seeks a continuance of the case deadlines for three months because the Covid-19 pandemic has led to restrictions throughout the world, making discovery more difficult, and that Supercell asks that GREE be ordered to make its employees available for depositions in Japan, where GREE is based.
