A federal district court in California granted Blush Mark Inc. and Blush Mark Outfitters Inc.'s motion to dismiss Fashion Nova LLC’s action for willful copyright infringement and violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Fashion Nova claimed that Blush Mark downloaded digital copies of its product images, removed the file names assigned to the images, and distributed the images with the Blush Mark name and logo. According to the court, Fashion Nova didn’t show that the file names, or the company name, logo, or product names, are copyright management information
