Boeing Co. and Virgin Galactic LLC settled a lawsuit over trade secrets and tens of millions of dollars related to their brief cooperation on Virgin’s Mothership space tourism jet.

Virgin engaged Boeing’s Aurora Flight Sciences unit to help improve the operability and reliability of its space jet in 2022 before the relationship soured, according to court documents. Boeing sued Virgin in Virginia federal court, accusing it of retaining proprietary formulas, parameters, and test data while refusing to pay $25 million it owes the former collaborator.
