Ariana Grande Sued for Allegedly Ripping Off ‘7 Rings’ Hook

Ariana Grande was sued in Manhattan federal court Thursday by a musician who says the hook of her number-one hit “7 Rings” was stolen from his song “You Need It, I Got It.”

The “I Want It/I Got It” hook of “7 Rings” is rhythmically identical to the hook of Josh “Dot” Stone’s song, the complaint says.
