Fashion designer Jabari Shelton, better known as A$AP Bari, has reached a settlement with LVDV Holdings LLC over the use of the VLONE clothing trademark.
Shelton says he founded the popular VLONE streetwear brand in April 2012 and hired Frederick Hunter, who owns LVDV, to help him manage the rapid growth and publicity of VLONE. Shelton alleged Hunter fraudulently filed trademark applications without Shelton’s knowledge and named himself as “co-owner” before locking Shelton out of VLONE social media accounts, websites, and Shopify account.
