Korean Manufacturers Challenge U.S. Duties on Carbon Steel Pipe (1)

Two South Korean manufacturers are challenging U.S. antidumping duty rates on a type of steel pipe.

Heavy walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes are used in the construction industry and in the manufacture of truck beds, trailers, and agricultural implements. The Commerce Department recently completed a periodic duty review of such pipes from South Korea that entered the U.S. between March 2016 and August 2017. It assigned duty rates ranging from 4.74% to 20.79%.
