W&M Approves Bill Retroactively Suspending Employer Mandate (3)

The House Ways and Means Committee on July 12 approved several health care bills, including one retroactively suspending the employer mandate in the Affordable Care Act, setting up a potential floor vote later in the month.

Democrats on the panel criticized the measure for its impact on the deficit, and accused Republicans of political posturing.
