Letting people buy short-term insurance plans for longer periods of time simply reinstates rules that were in place before the Obama administration changed them, a federal judge said.
“What’s going on here is nothing more than a return to what the status quo was before,” U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Richard J. Leon said during a court hearing May 21, largely agreeing with arguments presented by the government.
