Tennessee Law Requiring Medication Abortion Notification Halted

Tennessee abortion providers won a temporary halt to a state law requiring them to tell patients it’s possible to reverse a medication abortion because part of the mandated message is misleading, a federal court in the state said.

Among the messages providers must convey to patients beginning Thursday is a statement directing them to the state health department’s website and printed materials for more information about medication abortion reversal.
