Stockpile Eyes Constraints on Oxygen Supplies for Virus Patients

The U.S. medical stockpile wants information on the availability of supplies hospitals need to deliver supplemental oxygen, a much-needed resource for Covid-19 patients who have trouble breathing.

The Strategic National Stockpile issued a request for information to better understand what the market for these supplies is like now, including if there are any “current or anticipated product constraints” with the increased demand. The request is also aimed at encouraging domestic production.
