A man who says a flu vaccine caused him to develop narcolepsy has no claim to federal compensation, the Federal Circuit ruled Feb. 25.

Michael McCollum didn’t prove through medical and scientific evidence that an influenza vaccine caused his sleep disorder, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said in rejecting his claim for payment under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act.
