Reproductive Rights Groups Challenge Religious Conscience Rule

Reproductive rights advocates are asking a federal court to end a new rule that will allow health-care workers to refuse to provide services based on their religious or moral beliefs.

The Trump administration rule due to take effect July 22 will “significantly restrict” millions of people from accessing health-care services, the Planned Parenthood Federation of America told the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York in a complaint filed June 11.
