Prof Demoted for Gender Dysphoria Views Proceeds on Bias Claim

A University of Louisville professor alleging he was demoted because of his conservative opinions about gender dysphoria in children and adolescents may proceed on bias claims against university officials, a federal court in Kentucky said.

Allan Josephson timely filed his lawsuit against the officials, even though his demotion occurred more than one year earlier, because he alleged they engaged in retaliatory actions within a year of the complaint’s filing, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky said Tuesday.
