Pennsylvania Wants Obamacare Exemptions to Stay Blocked

Rules exempting employers that object on religious or moral grounds from Obamacare’s birth control coverage requirement should stay blocked, Pennsylvania says.

The exemptions are inconsistent with the Affordable Care Act, the state told the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit March 18. The Health and Human Services, Treasury, and Labor departments didn’t follow proper procedures in adopting them, the state added.
