Pelosi: ‘Let’s Work Together’ on Drug Pricing

Bipartisan talks may be brewing on two top health issues mentioned by the president in his State of the Union address: drug pricing and pre-existing conditions.

“You heard the president’s speech last night,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Feb. 6 in addressing a conference for public health professionals. “He said he wants to reduce the cost of health care by reducing the cost of prescription drugs and respecting the benefit of pre-existing conditions, so let’s work together to get that done.”
