Patient Safety Group Backs Hospital in Appeal Over Medical Data

There is a substantial federal interest in clearing up a conflict between a Florida law requiring medical providers to give certain records to patients and a federal law protecting them from disclosure, a group dedicated to improving patient care said in a brief urging the Eleventh Circuit to reinstate a suit over the issue.
