Ninth Circuit Agrees to Delay Arguments in Conscience Rule Fight

A federal appeals court agreed Friday to hold off on hearing an appeal the Trump administration had filed in an effort to save a rule that would have allowed health workers to claim a religious or moral objection to treating or working with certain patients.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit agreed to remove the case, originally scheduled to be heard Feb. 8, from its oral argument schedule.
