March for Life Joins Obamacare Birth Control Suit in California

March for Life, a nonreligious group, will be helping to defend a rule that exempts it from having to offer employee health plans that cover contraceptives.

The Washington-based anti-abortion organization Jan. 26 won permission from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to join a lawsuit in which several states challenged Health and Human Services Department rules that broaden exemptions to the Affordable Care Act’s contraceptive mandate.
