Insurers who lost money selling health plans on Obamacare exchanges won’t be recovering any more federal funds, at least for now.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit June 14 in two related cases said the insurers weren’t entitled to recover the full amount they claimed they were due under the Affordable Care Act’s risk corridor program. They stood to have recovered over $12 billion if they had succeeded.
