House Panel Approves Several Obamacare Boosting Bills (1)

Several bills that House Democrats say will make Obamacare plans more affordable and protect people with pre-existing conditions were approved March 27 by a panel of the Energy and Commerce Committee.

The bills mostly passed by voice vote, but their biggest supporters are Democrats, lessening their chances of passage in the Senate. But they set up a narrative for Democrats to use heading into the 2020 campaign that they are protecting patients and insurers.
