HHS Delays Rule Hastening Medicare Payments for Medical Devices

Medical device companies may have to wait longer to get paid for new devices after the HHS paused a rule Friday that promised cash for companies as soon as their new products were approved.

It’s the latest rule the Biden administration has frozen as part of its overarching regulatory strategy to review policies released toward the end of Donald Trump‘s presidency for “fact, law, or policy” problems.
