The Biden administration is providing states with $3 billion in American Rescue Plan funding to help people struggling with mental health and substance abuse problems during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The money, which will be distributed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, is the largest aggregate funding amount ever targeted for the agency’s substance use block grant programs.
