FDA has sent requests to four e-cigarette companies (Aspire, Joyetech, Vaporesso and Voopoo) asking for information about their marketing practices.
- FDA says the four companies all have large followings on social media, and they don’t use age restriction tools on those platforms
- FDA asks the companies to submit information about their use of social media influencers, specifically as it relates to targeting youth
- The companies have 60 days to respond to the agency
