FCC Approves $42 Million for Pandemic Telehealth Program

The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday approved $41.98 million in funding for telehealth services during the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the second round of funds allocated under the FCC’s COVID-19 Telehealth Program and covers an initial set of 62 applications.

The applicants that received funding include the hardest-hit and lowest-income areas in the country, tribal communities, and previously unfunded states and territories, FCC acting chair Jessica Rosenworcel said in an announcement.
