Energy Programs, Surprise Billing, Other Matters in H.R. 133

Numerous energy research programs would be authorized, while tax breaks and health programs would be extended under H.R. 133, which would also fund the government for the balance of fiscal 2021 and provide aid to counter the effects of the ongoing pandemic.

The measure includes language that would limit surprise medical bills and expand eligibility for federal student aid, among other higher education policy changes.
